I’ve been rediscovering Six Feet Under and falling in love with the show all over again. It really is one of the greatest recent achievements in American television. Rachel Griffiths’ Brenda is one of my all-time favorite TV characters, and rewatching the show led me to get tickets to see her on Broadway in Other Desert Cities. There have been exceptions, but shows like this prove that HBO’s reputation for its scripted shows is deserved.
