imremembering: Berenstain Bears Forget Their Manners Even at age five, I remember thinking that Papa Bear was a horrible father. Whether the book dealt with manners, junk food, or too much television, Papa Bear was always as bad as Brother and Sister Bear. I’m sure that Mama and Papa Bear fight like crazy on the pages we don’t see. Also, I always wondered how their home was made out of a still-standing tree. How can you install windows in the branches?
